Thinking about Eggs is is an exhibition project with series of art works based on an egg. Paintings and objects are meant to play over the simple, yet the multifaceted meanings an egg can have.
This project aims to bring a subject that is relatable on a big scale. Building relationships between something as mundane as an egg on a context that dares to discuss complex questions about an image.
Through an absurd repetition and over study of this subject, it is intended to question the real purpose of a piece of art on this day and age, through new narratives and results can respond to it.
Being an everyday element that at the same time carries strong symbolic significance stands on the verge of simplicity and complexness that is able to create a space of high tension between each other.

The project starts an artistic collaboration between artists Vicente Arrese and Aranzazu Moena which with their common interest about eggs and different approaches in their art practices, intends to depict a material and pictorial approaches into a common theme.
